I know I probably sound like a broken record, but its true--one of the best things about my job are the amazing, fun people I get to meet! This group was no different...I met Emily, her Mom and her Grandma at a local vineyard and from the moment we met, it was like hanging out with old friends! We found a great spot with the most amazing light, and away we went!I am always thankful when girls don't mind getting a little dirty in order to get a great shot in a certain spot. Emily had on a dress, and I basically asked her to sit in between a pile of weeds! Thankfully I had the cover from my reflector handy for her to sit on ;)I LOVED Emily's clothing choices! She rocked this next white dress...and with her Mom, Grandma and I cracking jokes ( along with a few happy "omg, she is all grown up"! tears) we got some sweet serious and silly looks :)And yeah...all I can say is, WOW...the light, the colors, the girl. SO pretty!!!The Vineyards provided an amazing backdrop! After the vineyard location, we packed up and headed down the street to the second location Emily had wanted-green grass. I had found this perfect spot close by in a new subdivision across the street just a few days prior. As we drove up, my heart sank...it was all cut down and BROWN! Quickly, I looked up on my GPS (thank goodness for modern technology!) and found a huge green spot nearby. We headed over, and found several soccer games going. We were able to find a small patch near the street that wasn't being used...and viola! You'd never know goals were being made just to the right of us!I could have been out there all night, but man...when the sun started to disappear, it got chilly FAST! We all said our goodbyes and jumped in our warm cars!Thank you so much girls, this session made my photographers heart so happy!
