Bodega Bay Senior Session | Montgomery High School

This Bodega Bay senior session was crazy...crazy awesome! Normally when I have a session at the beach, we are fighting the wind, the cold (people forget that in Northern Ca, we have the coast...its chilly here! I think most people envision California beaches and think warm, sunny SoCal) along with constant photo bombers (Bodega is a popular tourist destination). But when Shalyn and I arrived, we were greeted with a calm, beautiful evening that just required a light sweater. And we had the place to ourselves!We started at an amazing walk way that lead up to the beach. I love it when the light is soft and even...and isn't her purple hair killer?And this...this aqua walkway is my favorite! Shalyn just moved to Sonoma County recently from out of state, so I thought a photo of her gazing out to the ocean was a nice way to "welcome" her to California! Just beautiful :)Had to through a little moody B&W in there, too!I loved how she had no issues with getting a little sandy, I love the sand on her feed and the crashing of the waves in the background!This session really was so much fun! I loved running around and finding new spots and I loved getting to know Shalyn...I love my job!
