Surprise Engagement at Viansa Winery

Connor has family in Sonoma and had been to Viansa multiple times and knew he wanted their amazing view of the valley as the backdrop for his proposal. Using this specific spot for his surprise engagement at Viansa Winery was his idea, and it worked well!

After looking at this blog of the typical proposal spots, Connor said he wanted to do something a little different - and he was so confident in his ability to make the plan work, I was proud of him for nailing the exact spot I needed him to be at!

The other thing that worked really well was the weather and time of year- the day before this was well over 100 degrees (this was in July 2024), and yet the morning of this proposal was in the mid 70’s. A much welcomed relief! And look at the lush green vineyards in the background showing off!

The rest of our time was spent walking around to a few popular spots on the property, before heading to their private outlook for their tasting (which included a surprise from some family!)
