Proposal at Cottage Grove Inn

While most of the proposals I photograph are at wineries, its so fun and unique when a client decides to use their hotel/AirBNB/cottage as the location! This proposal at Cottage Grove Inn in Calistoga was wonderful!

I loved this location for multiple reasons. First, it was so quiet and peaceful. These cottages are in downtown Calistoga, so you’d assume it would be loud from cars or just “life”, but the trees really do insulate the sound. Second, it was a hot summer day, yet it was so chill and breezy in this spot. Lastly, it was the perfect area for a private moment!

Their Mom had come earlier in the morning to decorate the room, and it was so sweet to watch her walk in, see the decor, and then walk out, knowing something big was about to happen!

Their cute dog was a part of it all, too…so well behaved and so excited!

If you decide to use this location for your proposal, I highly recommend asking to book this specific cottage (#14), as it is the last house at the end of the drive and gives some added privacy.
