Senior Photos in Sonoma County | Healdsburg, California

You guys! I had THE best time doing these Senior Photos in Sonoma County! Seriously, Talia was so sweet, and was up for anything! We met at my studio in Healdsburg where we started with hair and makeup by Mary (she is so amazing!!)A few things I loved about this session-This girl doesn't even know how gorgeous she is! I love watching the reveal when seniors see themselves in the mirror after their hair and makeup is completed. Talia had the best reaction; she couldn't stop smiling! She is an athlete (she runs cross country for Maria Carrillo High School) so most days the most she does is add mascara and chapstick (my kind of girl!) and her hair is pulled back. It is so fun to see girls who don't typically wear a full face of makeup every day get pampered and FEEL as pretty as they look!Also, her jumper?! So cute! This one is from Forever 21 and I love how simple and stylish it is.She was up for just walking (or driving) around and pulling off when a good location with killer lighting popped up! We started in downtown Healdsburg, and then drove to Coppola Winery, and randomly decided to drive into the town of Geyserville! As we were headed back to the freeway, we saw some really cool sculptures on the side of the road, and had to pull off. Sometimes the best locations are the ones you just happen upon! We had so much fun checking them all out; on was little medal pieces that made a tinging sound in the wind, and the other was an orb made of circles.Something that really impressed me about Talia was her happy, excited, ambitious nature. She was one of the families who lost their home on Fountain Grove during last years fires, and she was so positive about moving forward; enjoying her senior year to the fullest, and heading to college.
