Let's just start off with this- I am NOT a fashionista!
I am a basic shirt and jeans girl, just add mascara and some flip flops and I'm ready to go. But...I secretly WISH I had style! So photographing Taylor's urban and organic senior photos in Sonoma County basically had me in awe! lol. Even Christy (Taylor's Mom and my long time friend) had on an amazing pair of boots! I might have to go to the mall and get me a pair!
Also, I tried something a little new- we did a 3 hour session!
Some seniors have more outfits and locations and its so hard to narrow them down. I don't want anyone to feel limited with 2 hours, so I added the extra hour and it was great! Taylor was crowned Miss Teen Golden State, so we thought the perfect spot to take photos in her crown would be at Castello di Amorosa! That blue dress and her blonde locks were a killer combo! She also had a pink dress that was so fun!!Next, we headed to Sebastopol to The Barlow! Guys, I have always loved urban sessions to mix things up, and this place takes my love up a notch! The light was killer, and the camo mini skirt was so amazing! Then off to Ragle Ranch, and lastly, Laguna Trail. Each spot had the best light, and the sunset was spot on! I love when we got to the open field and she just twirled around as the sun set...I LOVE motion! She even got on the ground at the end and dealt with bugs to get some fun shots at the end :)
I love my job!
I love watching each girl seeing how beautiful and awesome they are! I am such a proud Mama with each girl (or guy) I work with, and love the connections I make with each senior and their family. Taylor, you ROCK!Outfits
