Proposal at The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay
When Nick told me about the location he was hoping to use for his proposal at The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, I got really excited because I had randomly shot there a year ago! He sent me photos of the spot to confirm, and sure enough :) The only difference this time was it was happening on a weekend after noon rather than a weekday at sunset- and of course, that meant EVERYONE was out- walking their dogs, playing golf, you name it!
I was traveling with my husband as we already had a plan to head to Pebble Beach that evening for a family session, so it worked out so well to stop at Half Moon Bay on our way down south! I really do feel like it was meant to be; we found a parking spot in a very crowded area, and so did Nick!
I did get a little nervous right before Nick arrived because the bridge he planned to use was also the main “road” for all the golf carts to get to one side of the course. Thankfully Nick noticed the same thing, and took Kelsy and their pup on a little walk and came back and waited patiently for them to pass and then went down on one knee before Kelsy could even see what was coming!
Nick was a little nervous about our their dog would react, if she would freak out or jump on him- but seriously, it was like she was totally clueless!
And then came the grande finale- family and friends waiting on the beach with champagne and a feast to celebrate! Their masks say “I Do Crew”! They really thought of everything :)
