Proposal at Preston Farm & Winery

When I got the email asking me if I was available for this proposal at Preston Farm & Winery in Healdsburg, I was so excited! First off, it’s always a treat to photograph an event so close to home, and secondly, it is always such a pleasure to find a new “off the beaten path” location, that is excited to welcome proposals to their property!

Preston Winery is family owned, and I loved the organic feel of the gardens! They have a “secret garden” spot that is a bit secluded, lush, and the perfect spot to use for a proposal. The other thing I loved was all the unique spots, just steps away, for photos. There are vineyards on the property, but this couple really just loved the gardens so much so we took most of the photos in that area.

I was also so impressed with Lainy, the events coordinator, and how excited and thrilled she was to host! She put together a beautiful charcuterie tray, as well as making sure I had everything I needed to make the proposal as seamless as possible. She also handled a million other things behind the scenes and made it all look easy!
