Winter Proposal at Sterling Vineyards

I am SO excited to be able to share a new proposal option in the Calistoga area! This Winter Proposal at Sterling Vineyards was the perfect way to re-open this winery!

Sterling closed in 2020 after it was hit by the Glass Fire, and I was so thrilled to hear that it was re-opening last month, as they are offering a proposal package, and their experience is top notch!

As someone who doesn’t drink, even I was impressed and immediately taken by the whole process- you arrive and park, and then are taken to the tasting room via a gondola ride- which is it’s own amazing experience! The views of Napa Valley are incredible!

Once you get to the top, you can walk out to the first set of views, and then you are greeted at the beginning of the tasting room with your first pour.

The walk through the tasting room is incredible- and ends with an outdoor tasting area with a open terrace view, where you will walk all the way around to the “end”, where you will propose.

Sterling offers their proposals in the morning, at 10am, so that you are the first guests to arrive, to ensure your privacy. This location will work well any time of year, as the view of the valley from above is always a show stopper!

As you can see from these photos, Sterling looks amazing, even on an overcast, rainy day (and I am game for getting wet if need be!)
