Summer Wedding at Mountain House Estate | Cloverdale, California

Well, first off- when I saw Stephanie's inquiry pop up, and saw we shared the same name (and it was spelled 'correctly' ;)) I had a feeling we would have a great time together- I was right! This Summer Wedding at Mountain House Estate was so fun!

Originally, Stephanie had wanted a fall wedding (which makes sense, when your favorite color is orange!) but when she and Clement ended up deciding on an August date, she thought, why not bring the fall vibes anyways! Oh my gosh! The colors! I was in love with the pops of Autumn for sure! All the girls looked so dang good in their dresses and the flowers were incredible!

So many wonderful memories- the first look reaction her Dad had was so sweet! I love this idea! And this wedding was the first I have shot where they did the ceremonial breaking of the glass! I never did ask the bride and groom, but I am assuming its easier than it sounds!

Just before sunset, the videographer and I grabbed the couple and we hiked up the hill to get those last bits of sun- and although Stephanie's dress attracted a lot of "nature" (a grasshopper decided to hitchhike back to the reception-don't worry, he was evacuated!) it was so worth it! Such an incredible evening!

Last, but not least- the dancing! Some of my favorite moments- the father of the bride belting out Queen, and at the end, Clement and his college buddies singing and dancing to the A&M Fight Song. I LOVE when couples really make their wedding their own!
