Surprise Proposal at Baby Shower | Sonoma County, California

Leo and I met at a wedding ( was the photographer, he was the DJ) and we had so much fun working together! A couple weeks later, he reached out to me about doing a maternity session for his girlfriend, and in the process I found out that he was actually planning a surprise proposal at baby shower they were having at their house in just a few days. My excitement quickly jumped from the maternity session to helping him capture the proposal. He was so excited and on board!

I arrived at their house, and thankfully Leo had a friend of his come out and meet me and show me around to their backyard. I had the perfect hiding spot (although will all the people and commotion going on, I probably could have just stood in plain sight!). Then Leo told her he had one more surprise gift outside to show her, and everyone came out to watch him get down on one knee!

I gotta say- it was SO heartwarming to watch him tear up as he talked about their relationship and this new baby on the way, and how excited he was to build a family together!

I love my job and the incredible people I get to meet because of it!
