Stinson Beach Elopement
Maggie originally reached out to me for their Plan A date, and I was already booked. Then COVID happened, and the photographer they booked was no longer available, so she reached out to me for Plan B, which I was so excited I was available for! Well, Plan B then had to get postponed as well- and at that point, Maggie said that while they were still planning on having a large celebration next year, they just wanted to be married already! They invited me to come to their Stinson Beach elopement!
Maggie found the most beautiful, perfect dress. It was literally made for a beach elopement, the sand just slid right off it as she walked, and even better, she could move freely! As I walked down the beach with Chika, we tried to find a more secluded area for their First Look, but let’s be honest here- it was a Saturday during the last bit of summer, and the weather was incredible-so there wasn’t much empty space. We made it work though!
Their ceremony was short and sweet- honestly, probably the shortest I have witnessed- but the look in their faces once they were pronounced was so relieving! They both have the best, most joyous smiles and it was an honor to document. And the people were at the beach cheered behind them, it was cute!
Right after they were done walking back up the isle as husband and wife, a huge flock of birds flew by- like it surprised us all! Chika even joked that someone ordered the wrong birds (weren’t those supposed to be doves?! lol)
We then took a drive down the street to a gated community, and found an incredible spot near (no joke) the bathrooms! You know it’s a well taken care of location when even the bathroom area is well manicured! The sunset, the water, and the greenery just made for some incredible photos!
I love that this couple didn’t let 2020 win! This was my second elopement of the day, check out the first one in Napa HERE!
