Spring Senior Photography | Geysers Road

Ah, where do I start? As I type this, the rain is coming down good in Healdsburg. But this Spring Senior Photography session was truly a Spring session! The trees were in full bloom, it wasn't too hot or too cold...yep, you got it- it was JUST right!Hannah wanted her Spring Senior Photograph session out off Geysers Rd. We met at my house, and I persuaded her (it wasn't hard! She was all for it!) to make a quick stop by a street in Healdsburg local to downtown. I had recently gone on a run and taken a different route heading back to my house, and as I turned on the street, the blooms on the trees took my breath away! I just knew I had to get a few of Hannah since the blooms wouldn't last long! In fact, to make the story even more special, when I showed Hannah's Mom the images, she told me she remembered putting her kids in the stroller when they were younger and walking that street in the Springtime and loved that time of year when the blooms came out! Talk about a full circle moment, as Hannah is now graduating!After that, we headed out of town to Geyserville and into the hills! Something I truly love about photography is that when you position things just right, you can take a photograph and never know, for example, that it was on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere! It was so gorgeous out there! Then, we decided to just drive and see what we saw...which included a painted rock that looked like a frog, a hazard sign painted on the ground, which was attached to a rock, and miles and miles of beautiful green countryside! I have never been to Ireland but I imagine it was somewhat similar!Hannah, it was such a pleasure being your senior photographer, thank you for trusting me to capture this moment in time! And Shana...hw the heck did that happen so fast?
