Proposal Under the Palm Tree at Cast Wines
I remember being at a conference in Arizona and Andrew’s inquiry popped up. I got so excited, I ran back to my room so I could call him and chat details about his proposal under the palm tree at Cast Wines!
I often get asked for locations for proposals, but this time Andrew said he already had Cast booked and they recommended me- thanks Cast!
I have shot multiple proposals at Cast (one in December, shown HERE), but this was the first time I had done one where the couple was under the infamous palm tree- and I LOVED it! So amazing to have great light during a rough light part of the day, it gave of some great tropical vibes. It was also nice because during this time of year, there really isn’t anything growing on the vines yet, so it feels a little silly posing people in bare vineyard rows!
Alison may have had an idea, but I still love her smile! And I know Andrew could barely contain himself…he had already been to a winery or two, AND had lunch…so the ring was burning a hole in his pocket! The plan was for him to propose after they were brought their second tasting, but he went a little rogue and proposed right after the first- good thing I am a quick draw and started shooting like a crazy person lol
The second surprise was them being led up to The Perch, where both pairs of parents were waiting to celebrate!
If you are looking for a more private location to propose, but want family/friends waiting in the wings, Cast Wines really is worth the drive to Dry Creek!
