Golden Gate Bridge Sunrise Proposal

While 95% of my proposals are in Napa Valley, every now and then I get to take a drive a bit more south and head to San Francisco! This Golden Gate Bridge Sunrise Proposal was worth the 4am wake up!

When Ben contacted me initially, he had the idea to hike up to a certain point where you could see the bridge from a distance. But the more we chatted, the more he realized a hike that early in the morning with nice clothes on (they planned to head to Napa after) might not be the best option. We landed on this location on the Sausalito side, and aside from it being quite windy, it was such an incredible view!

It was so moving, to watch them in their little bubble, happy and excited, while simultaneously watching the sky change as the sun slowly crept up. Yes, Karl the Fog was there, but thankfully we still had a great view of the bridge.

There were quite a few people out in the area to watch the sunrise, but thankfully there was plenty of space, and the wind kept the intimate feeling (you couldn’t hear anything but what was right next to you).

There are so many options for locations with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. If you are going to be on the San Francisco side, HERE is another location that worked well!
