Elopement in Napa Valley | Rutherford, California

This elopement in Napa Valley was so incredible for so many reasons! First off- I LOVE that they chose to have the kind of wedding THEY wanted to have! They knew from the beginning that they wanted it to be just the two of them. Then they decided to knock off a few bucket list items- visit Napa Valley, and go on a hot air balloon ride (which they are probably on as I type this!). They have 3 boys between them, so having a trip all to themselves to sleep in (a dream all in itself!) enjoy some wine and the sights, and then to say their vows in such a beautiful setting- I really felt their joy in their decision!

I also loved that they went on a random drive the morning of their elopement, and happened upon a cute little chapel surrounded by vineyards on a road off the beaten path. They decided to change their original plans and get married there. It was PERFECT! We had the whole place to ourselves!

Also? Because the road was less traveled, we got to do some great shots of them in their convertible! Heck yeah! I love getting the chance to do something different/creative!

It was so fun finding new spots, walking around the vineyards and enjoying the gorgeous spots back at their hotel.

The best part though, was seeing them smile the whole time...seriously, they smiled at each other like high school crushes in love! Everyone deserves to have someone look and feel that way about them!

Huge thanks to Rancho Caymus Inn for not only connecting me with this amazing couple, but arranging transportation and making us all feel at home on their property! They have a swimming pool that is reason enough to make a visit!
