Castello di Amorosa Proposal

I have photographed many Castello di Amorosa proposals, and they still blow me away- this one especially!

You just never know what kind of reaction you will get, or rather, how the reaction will exactly play out- sometimes the proposee will stand there in a bit of blank shock, but not this time! As you can see in the photos, she started jumping up and down, and she definitely got air! Her excitement is what makes this job extra fun!

I get asked often, with each changing season in Napa, what winter looks like, once the vines go dormant. This proposal session was done at the very beginning of December, at around 3:30pm. The way these images look has the most to do with the light, and less to do with the fact that the vines are gone.

I also feel like you’ll get the most out of your images if you dress for this location- i't’s very grand, so a fun dress, skirt, a nice suit jacket, etc. will really go a long way to adding to the ambiance of the moment!
